Fathers

 I loved celebrating Father’s Day today. I have such good father’s in my life. My dad being the first and he has always taken such good care of me and taught me well. And then Brad and my father in law. I am so lucky. 

My favorite thing about Brad is his sense of humor and just the other day he played a huge prank on me. It wasn’t funny in the moment but I’m laughing now. I was trimming his neck after he had cut his hair when he lurched forward and screamed. He put his hand on his neck and it looked as though blood was oozing through his fingers! He had gotten ketchup ahead of time to prepare. Oh my word! I thought I had cut him badly! But I’m grateful that he makes me laugh.

At church I helped with a cookie and soda bar for the Dads in our ward. It was a lot of fun and I think they all appreciated it.

The kids spoiled Brad this afternoon. Brad was actually really busy with church things and then he had an emergency patient that he needed to go into his office to help. While he was gone Kade and Tenley set up all his presents in the guest room closet and created a scavenger hunt with clues that led to it. Brad kept saying there better be a pot of gold at the end to make it worth it. And at the end there was a bowl of popcorn! He said that made it worth it. Haha. It made me laugh.

These kids sure love their daddy and were happy to spoil him!
