We took the boat out today and of course had some more crazy adventures! The winds were gusting at 45 mph so the cover was putting a lot of pressure on our broken window frame. We decided to take the cover off half way through the drive. When we had almost gotten to the lake we noticed a car behind us trying to get our attention. Apparently a big, heavy seat cushion had somehow flown out! Brad dropped Luke and I with the boat and went to look for it. While he was gone someone drove by with our seat cushion. They had picked it up and realized it must have been ours. I didn’t have any cell service to let Brad know but he eventually came back and was happy to see that the seat wasn’t all that damaged.
It was pretty windy on the lake also but Kade still skied and the kids had a blast swimming.
On the way home we dropped Kade off at a Young Mens campout. We arrived before the rest of the boys and had dinner. It made me want to go camping! Luke was loving playing with the sticks and the leaves. Why do we even have toys?
When we got home Luke used his sweet puppy dog eyes on me to get me to make chocolate chip cookies. He said that all he wanted was a cookie! Haha. He’s so funny and so cute I can never say no!
