Uncle Chad

Chad came up to visit so Brad could take him on a fly fishing trip today. The weather was nice and sunny today, great day to go fishing! So last minute on Wednesday Brad called and asked Chad if he wanted to come fishing with him. Chad made it work and came. They had fun on the river today and caught a lot of fish.

The kids and I had fun while they were gone as well. We met friends a the trampoline park and then picked up McDonald’s for lunch. At the trampoline park Kade and Tenley were able to race up the rock wall. They got three tries and by the third try Tenley was able to almost beat Kade. I love her fierceness! 

At home, Tenley walked the dog with me and after that I was able to take Kade to his basketball game. When we got home the kids had a pizza party and Brad and I took Chad out to Roadhouse Diner for dinner. We wanted to take the kids as well, but new Covid rules won’t allow more than six people to a table at a restaurant. It’s a bummer. But I did try the PB & J burger finally and it was pretty delicious.

We spent the rest of the night watching Chad play VR and hearing Luke say “uncle Chad!” over and over and over again. It’s always fun to get a visitor!
