Preschool

Ryder started preschool today! We're doing a little co-op group with friends. There are just three kids total. Ryder and his two girlfriends ;). I had totally forgotten that we were starting it today. We came home from dropping Kade and Tenley off at school, I started to nurse Luke, and my friend texted me about school. I was worried that I had not time to prep Ryder and get him excited, but he didn't need that. He was so excited all on his own! He had a great time learning and he felt so big. I think he'll enjoy his little preschool group.

Wednesday used to be our busiest day of the week but it has now become the least busy day of the week. Monday right after school we head to piano lessons and get home in time for homework and dinner. Tuesday and Thursday right after school Kade has swim practice and we don't get home from that until about 5:45 or 6. Those days are long! It was nice to just come straight home after school today and have what used to be our after school routine. We do homework, practice the piano, read, and then the kids have some electronic time. While Ryder and Kade were playing electronics, I was playing the piano, and Tenley was writing her own music. She brought it to me and said, "You can play this!" She named it herself and everything! My heart could burst!! It wasn't on sheet music, but I'll be teaching her about that soon. She's going to be a composer someday!
