Role Models

Today in primary some of the young men came in to talk to the children about the sacrament, why it's important, and what they do to prepare for it. I was very impressed with their thoughts and their testimony and I kept looking over at Kade hoping he was paying close attention, and grateful to have such good young men in our church for Kade to look up to. But honestly, I wasn't so sure that Kade found the young men all that interesting.
Then when we got home from church today, Brad changed out of his church clothes and into some lounge wear and then while I was making lunch I noticed Kade come out wearing very similiar clothing to Brad. It made me laugh! And it also made me realize how much Kade looks up to his Dad and how much he wants to be like him in every way. I'm so grateful he has such a great role model in our home to look up to every day. A good Dad as a role model is probably the best role model he can have.
