Motherhood

Kade woke up early this morning with labored breathing so I kept him home from school again. Then Ryder woke up not too long after with throw up in his bed. It wasn't the best start to the morning but I had my boys join me in bed so we could cuddle until Tenley woke up which made it better. We dug Kade's nebulizer out of storage so we could use it to help with his asthma. We haven't used it in over a year and I was hoping we'd never have to again, but I'm grateful we have it for these situations.
While we were waiting for Kade's treatment to be done, Tenley noticed the rose bush in our backyard had bloomed and she ran out to pick a flower for Kade. She is so compassionate. Not to be outdone though, Kade had to go pick one for her as well. They can be a bit too competive with each other.
We had a fun day holed up in the house, trying to keep Kade healthy, playing games, and building tents while listening to Disney music really loud. I've been noticing how much Ryder loves Kade and Tenley. He loves being with them and being apart of whatever it is they're doing. It's so adorable!
I love my sweet kids and I'm so lucky to be their Mom and to be able to stay home with them every day.
