Tonight my sweet parents watched my kids for me so I could go out with my friends from high school. I haven't seen some of them for over 7 years! It was so good to see them, catch up, and remember some good times from high school.
In a few months I will be missing our 10 year high school reunion party.
It is crazy to see/hear where everyone is now in life.
I love hearing of people who have gone on to fulfill their childhood dreams or who have done great things with their lives and married great people and have had adorable children.
It makes me sad to hear of people who's life hasn't turned out quite as they planned and I hope they are able to work things out and still take time to make their life great.
I'm so grateful for the great friends that I had in high school who affected my life for the better and who made me who I am.
Sometimes I look back with regret on certain decision or choices that I made, but I'm realizing that I wouldn't be who I am without having made those choices.
Those choices led me to marry my amazing, sweet, wonderful husband and together we've had almost 8 great years of marriage together, experienced a lot of highs and a few lows, and had two cute, adorable children that we love so much. We've helped and are helping each other fulfill our own childhood dreams and together we'll help our children achieve their dreams.
Nothing in my life has been more fulfilling to me then watching my children learn and grow and seeing them develop into little human beings. I'm excited to see where their lives take them and I hope and pray that they also have wonderful friends who touch their lives for the better.
