The weather was gorgeous again today! I love it SO much. I love driving around in the sunshine and playing with the kids in the backyard. Luke's favorite part of the day was jumping on the tramp. I love it even more knowing this nice weather will be ending soon and the snow and cold temperatures are coming back. It's been nice to have a break from winter for a bit!

Warmth and Sunshine
It was over sixty degrees today and it felt so amazing! At Kade's crossfit gym they opened up the garage door to let the fresh air in so I watched the last ten minutes of class soaking up the sunshine outside. It was the best! I do miss skiing, but I love the warmth from the sunshine.
I baked my loaf of sourdough today and it turned out so well! I need to keep practicing. It's a fun skill to have.

Tenley
Tenley spoke in church today for her second time. I'm not sure how detailed I got after her first time speaking but it was rough. She was emotional and cried because she was scared. But this time she held it together really well and didn't cry! I was so proud of her for doing something again that she doesn't like to do. She was also set apart today as the president of her young women's class. She will be a great leader.

Sunrise, Brad
I feel like I haven't seen the sunrise for a while, but I saw it today! Tenley had to be to her volleyball game at 7:30 so we were up early enough to see the sunrise. It was beautiful! And the warmer weather has been so nice.
Tenley played well at her game! They lost so now they are 2-2. Not that it matters. She's having a great time playing with her friends.
Date night tonight consisted of dropping a birthday treat off for my friend Bonnie who I actually haven't seen in almost a year. It was really really really good to see her. Then we had to make a stop at Home Depot for another Brad project. And then we went out to our favorite Mongolian BBQ restaurant. They have raised their prices significantly so it may be a long time before we go there again!
I also have to give Brad a huge shoutout! I've been keeping this blog for over 12ish years now and for some reason March 2020 to the present time wasn't showing any pictures! It was frustrating and I just could not figure out why or how to get the pictures back. It just had links posting instead of the pictures. Brad spent a lot of time on it for me and yesterday he finally fixed it all! He thought we would have to go through post by post and picture by picture (which would have been hundreds and hundreds of photos!) but somehow, thanks to his genius brain, he did it all at once. I am so grateful that he's such a great problem solver!!

Kiwi Co
My kids are grateful for kiwi co every single month. We heard the doorbell ring this morning while they were still in pajams and I saw that it was the kiwi co package. They ran to the door, opened the box, and started building right away!
I'm glad they had something to distract them since we didn't end up going skiing today. The snow still isn't that great, but we've been wanting to go. Then this morning Brad had to go to his office to check out a leaking pipe outside. Luckily the water didn't come into his office and it was city pipes so the city came to fix it. They had to shut off the water to his office while they fixed it, but since he wasn't working today it didn't affect him. The timing couldn't have been better!

Luke's Artwork
Luke decided to take up drawing today! After his school work, which Tenley helped him with since I had to leave to do visits for Relief Society (Tenley is a HUGE help!), he and Tenley got on art for kids hub to find pictures to draw. He chose a dinosaur first and he did a great job! Tenley made him a binder for his art and he drew two more pictures today. It's fun to see him get interested in new things!

The Arcade
The arcade machine is still pretty popular around here. I think my boys know that if they wake up early enough to where I'm still exercising, then they can play the arcade until I'm done. They were all hanging out while I was on the treadmill. Tenley must not like it that much though because she still sleeps in late!

Snowmen
Tenley had another volleyball game today! I love watching her play because I can tell how much she loves it. It's crazy that she's in 6th grade and she's playing with and against 8th graders! You can't tell though since she's so tall. They won again! They're undeafeted so far.
The weather warmed up to about 32 degrees which feels amazing. The boys went out to play in the snow and made the cutest snowman!

The Library, CrossFit, Volleyball Games
We had a busy and fun day today! We went to the library to get some books for the kids and they really enjoyed that. Luke has been bringing his new Bluey book around with him everywhere today.
Kade has been working out at a Crossfit gym for the past few weeks. They have a six week program for homeschoolers and he's really enjoying it. He feels like he's getting stronger which will be great for soccer season!
And then Tenley had her first volleyball game tonight with her homeschool team, the Bulldogs. They did great and won the match! Tenley is in 6th grade, but most of her teammates are in 7th or 8th grade. They will actually be playing 8th grade teams this year. It will be fun to watch! She really enjoyed the game tonight. She mainly plays in the center to set the ball to her teammates and she loves that.

Mystery Photos
Today was a busy day. I felt like I was running all over the place from piano, to errands, to meetings, to volleyball practice, to a lesson with the missionaries. Yikes! But it was a good day and the kids were happy. Even though I forgot to take a picture today it turns out that someone got one. I think Tenley took this at piano lessons today. You can't go wrong with a close up of Luke's face!
Also, Kade got to come with me to the lesson with the missionaries. Kade is such a great kid. He shared his testimony and was kind to the 13 year old boy that they are teaching. It was a good experience for him!
