The little boys and I stayed home to avoid the long drive with them. I often get their names mixed up so I told Ryder I’m just going to start calling them both LuRy. Lol. We played at the mall and at the park and watched a movie together tonight. They’re pretty good little buddies so it was a fun day!

Days with LuRy
Brad drove Kade and Tenley up to Kalispell for Kade’s soccer games. The drive went well and the games did too. They won the first but lost the second but they played so well considering they had four really good players gone today. Brad FaceTimed for the second game which was so nice! I got to see an epic save from Kade where he blocked the ball and then blocked it again and held onto it so the play was over. It was fun to see some of the game.

Piano Scholarships
Kade and Tenley were two of ten students from three piano teachers invited to participate in a special recital tonight for a scholarship. It was a huge honor and we enjoyed listening to them play and hearing all the other wonderful youth talent in the community. It was a fun night! And Tenley ended up with one of the two scholarships that they were giving out. It was pretty special!

Life
One of Brad’s patients recently died in a motorcycle accident. It was shocking and very sad. His funeral was today so I joined Brad for it. It was as uplifting and inspiring as a funeral could be. It was definitely emotionally exhausting but I’m glad I went.
Kade and Ryder stayed home from school to help with Luke during the funeral. We went for a walk to the park this morning to enjoy the sunshine! It was nice to be with my boys and enjoy the beautiful weather and with the thoughts of the funeral on my mind, just enjoy being alive.

Boomerangs
Today Ryder made boomerangs. They actually work pretty well and he and Luke had a lot of fun with them. It’s been fun to see Ryder take this paper oragami so seriously.

Paper Airplanes
I used paper airplanes during music time in primary on Sunday and Luke has been flying them ever since. Brad helped the boys make some more yesterday and we’re trying to enjoy paper planes flying all over our living room each night.

Mornings at the Park
Luke and I met up with friends for a walk and then he played with his little buddy at the park for a while. It finally felt like Spring again today! He found lots of stick, chased lots of geese, and threw lots of rocks in the pond. He never wanted to leave.

Private Violin Concerts
After church I asked Kade to play his violin for me. He’s been learning Somewhere Over the Rainbow and he played well. I love the violin and it was really nice to hear him play just for me. It was the best private concert I’ve ever had.
Tonight Luke noticed we were out of M&Ms so he went to get a new jar from the storage room. When he opened the lid it was obvious that one of my kids had already found a way to snag some candy without asking. Lol. No one seemed to know who it was though…

Sports
Kade’s soccer games were not canceled today so we all traveled the three hours to Bozeman together to cheer him on. It was cold and windy, but we were happy it didn’t snow or rain. The team won the first game, but lost the second by 6 goals. The other team was much better, but Kade was trying his hardest. They scored on him 6 times in the first half and only 2 in the second. I think he enjoyed the challenged. It was fun to watch him progress so quickly. There are so many great life lessons in sports and I love that my kids play them.

Change of Plans
Brad was supposed to go fishing today but the weather canceled his plans so we had a fun day together. We went for a walk by the river in the morning and then out to lunch and to run errands before picking up the kids from school. It was nice.
Kade’s soccer games may be canceled tomorrow as well due to the weather. We will see what happens!

Non-windy Days
Today was pretty beautiful. It wasn’t cold and the wind wasn’t blowing! When Brad got home from work we went on a walk together. It was so nice. Tenley olayed well at her volleyball game tonight! She’s amazing. And Kade enjoyed soccer practice.

Luke’s Lego House
The kids had to go back to school today which was a bummer for Luke and me, but luckily Luke had his ninja class so that kept us busy. We also had a huge stack of books to read from the library. Although he ended up wanting to read the same book over and over again. He also spent a lot of time on his lego house. He goes back to his room to work on it a lot. He’s been creative with it and he loves to make little dinosaurs out of the lego pieces.

Spring Break
The kids and I crammed a lot of fun things into today. We went to the park this morning and they played there for a long time. Beside the wind blowing it was a pretty day! Then we headed to the library. They got a lot of fun new books and have been reading them most of the day. Then I took them out to lunch. We had fun being together. I love having them around and I’m not excited to send them back to school tomorrow.

Bowling and Volleyball Camp
Tenley had a fun volleyball camp this morning. She won a volleyball by being one of two people to be able to serve the ball over the net and hit a certain spot on the other side of the court. They also ranked her as the second best player overall so she also got a volleyball bracelet. She was so excited and she had so much fun.
This afternoon we all went bowling together. We had fun and Luke won the game! Thanks to bumpers! Haha.

Easter Sunday
I’m so grateful to have been able to celebrate Easter today with my family. I love Jesus and I’m grateful for all that He did for us. We had a good morning at church and when the kids and I got home we tried to get a picture taken in our church clothes and lucky for us Brad got home early and was able to sneak in with us! It was perfect timing. We had friends over for dinner and pie. Brad made a turkey and everything was delicious!
