Sick Little Buddies

Kade and Luke woke up feeling lethargic today and Kade’s asthma cough just doesn’t seem to go away. They both rested a lot today. They slept for three hours! I had a lot of quiet time to myself and it was kind of strange! I missed Luke’s constant chatter. Hopefully they both feel better tomorrow.

Peanut Butter Cookies

Tenley tried a new cookie recipe tonight and it was delicious! It’s been fun to see her bake so much. She even cleaned up all the dishes tonight!

Sunshine

We woke up to snow on the ground this morning! Montana weather never ceases to surprise us. But the sun came out and melted it all and by the afternoon it felt like spring weather again. We were so thankful for the sunshine!

Running

With the nice weather and the help of a friend who is a physical therapist I’ve been getting back into running! I used to run frequently before we moved to Montana and then my knees started hurting. I’ve been working hard to strengthen my legs and get back into running and it’s been a lot of fun! I really enjoy it especially when the weather is warm ish and not windy. Keena loves running too and so does Luke when he tags along in the stroller.

Kade stayed home from school today because he wasn’t feeling well so Luke wasn’t with me when I picked Ryder and Tenley up from school. He was at the door as a welcoming committee right when we got home though. It was adorable!

Sunny Sundays

It was seventy degrees and sunny today! And, again, no wind! After church we went for a walk to the park. So many people were out. I’m glad we were able to enjoy this beautiful day.

Spring

It was a beautiful day with no wind! Keena and I went for a walk, Kade and Brad went golfing with friends, and Tenley and the boys spent a lot of time on the trampoline. We definitely enjoyed it! The kids also helped me decorate the house for Easter. It’s looking like spring here!

March Madness

The kids had a short day at school today and then a few play dates this afternoon. Brad and I were able to go on a date tonight. We went to a fundraiser for a friends who has been battling cancer. I loved being there to support her. Then we walked along the river for a bit and had dinner out.

When we got home we caught up on basketball. It’s so fun to watch so much basketball! We’re all doing pretty poorly on our brackets now though since Gonzaga lost. Except for Luke who chose a 15 seed to win it all. He liked the St. Peter’s Peacocks so much because the mascot reminds him of the Kevin bird from Up. And for the first time in history this 15 seed made it to the elite eight. It’s been pretty exciting to watch! 

Decades Day

The kids got to dress up in their favorite decade for school today. Out of convenience with the clothes they already had, Tenley was the 70s and Ryder was the 50s. And I guess Kade was too cool for it! Lol. They had fun.

70 Degrees!

It was a beautiful spring day today! I’m sure Montana is just teasing us with this nice weather, but wereally  enjoyed it! Luke and I got out for run this morning and the kids played with neighbor friends all afternoon. It’s getting me excited for summer!

Tough Ryder

I picked the kids up from school today and Ryder had a huge goose egg right on his forehead! I guess he was running to get a snack when he ran into the lockers. Poor little guy! He said he didn’t even cry. He’s such a tough little guy.

Spring Sports

Volleyball and soccer sports are in full swing! Tenley has practice twice a week and Kade has practice three times a week. It’s busy and I’m driving around all afternoon, but the kids are having a blast and it makes it all worth it! 

The Haddons

We had such a fun weekend with the Haddons! It’s always fun to have family visit. We were busy with fun things and there was no shortage of yummy food. We watched a lot of the March Madness basketball games with them too which made it more exciting. Can’t wait to see them again!

Giant Springs

Brad did some dental work for the Haddons this morning. It went pretty quickly. We spent the afternoon walking along the river near Giant Springs. It was a nice day today so there were a lot of people out enjoying the weather. We had fire grilled pizza for dinner and homemade ice cream for dessert. We always eat way too well with guests here.

Skiing with Cousins

We had a blast skiing with cousins today! The snow was great. It was snowing in the morning and then the sun came out in the afternoon. It was beautiful. I got Luke to come on a run with me. He’s such a happy little guy and we had fun together. Everyone else enjoyed the hill. It was a good day! 

We spent the night playing games and eating yummy food. Luke’s best buddy has been Kara today. He thinks she’s pretty fun! It’s so much fun to have visitors.
