Holliday Park

We have a few things left on our Indy bucket list that we've been trying to check off. Today we went to a cool park near downtown. It had some great hiking trails and a cool playground. We ended up spending the whole day there!

Popcorn

Today Brad and I were busy packing a little bit and getting some things sold but the kids had a great time playing with each other! I was able to cuddle Ryder and Tenley for some if the afternoon and it was heaven! And then we had an impromptu movie night and Brad made us his delicious popcorn! It was a good family day :)

Park

I love meeting friends at the park on beautiful, sunny days like today. They ran and played and were so happy the whole time! 

T-ball

Kade is on a t-ball team with his good friend Josiah. He has been loving it and is learning a lot! It's so much fun to watch him play!

Friends

It's hard to think that with every outing or playdate these days they could be our last ones ever. But we are definitely enjoying the friend time! These cute kids played for five hours without fighting or wanting our help with anything. The three of girls just got to sit on the couch and talk all day. I felt really spoiled! It was a really great day!

I also got to go out for ice cream with a bunch of the friends that I made here. I love them all so much! It's hard to leave such an amazing group of women and people that have become like family to me. I will miss them!

Reading

Kade loves reading to Ryder. It is so sweet to see!

Rainy Sundays

These two sweet kids are the best!

Thunder Over Louisville

We loved going over Thunder over Louisville today! It could possibly be our last time going so we didn't want to pass it up. Kyle and Hailey and their family joined us and many more friends as well! The weather was perfect, the air show was awesome, and the fireworks were amazing as always!

Ryder's Giggles

Ryder loves to play pat-a-cake and we love to hear him giggle! Brad probably played it with him over 10 times today and we all just sat around and watched. Ryder is pretty popular around here!

Girl Night, Camping

Brad and Kade went camping last night so Tenley and I (and Ryder) got to have some girl time. We went out to eat and out for ice cream! It sure was yummy! Then we came home, got in our pajamas, and watched Sleeping Beauty. It was fun to have some one on one time with my girl!

The boys had a great time camping at Mounds State Park. They had smores and hot dogs, Kade wrestled a lot with his friends, and they went on a little hike the next day.

Spring Weather

The weather was so beautiful today and we spent a lot of the afternoon outside. Ryder loved it! Then we got to go to a baseball game downtown! It was so much fun. We even stayed for the fireworks. The kids loved them and they loved staying up late!

Strawberry Shortcake

Tenley loves to watch Strawberry Shortcake. It's actually a pretty cute show and I don't mind it, but today Strawberry Shortcake said something that really inspired me! I know this sounds crazy and I've obviously been cooped up in the house too much or something! But I've been getting really sad about leaving our life here in Indianapolis. This place and the people here have become our home. We are comfortable here. We love so much about it here. Leaving is hard! 

Anyway I'm not sure what was happening in the show, but Strawberry said to her friends, "How about instead of thinking of what we are leaving behind, we think of what we are going to and all of the wonderful adventures ahead!?"

That was what I needed to hear! It will be nice to think back on all the great memories we've had here, but right now I need to think of all the fun adventures ahead and get excited about that!

 We have a lot of fun memories to make in Idaho!

And I do miss these beautiful sunsets.

And the river and mountains.

And all the wonderful family we'll have close by!
